At the end of june, i placed an online order with plushbeds.com for a latex queen bed and adjustable foundation. my sister and her husband recently bought a tempurpedic bed with an adjustable base from a Sleepys storefront. the adjustable base is amazing. and we should be able to use our current bed frame. the reviews seemed really good for this online place. my sister also referred me to sleeplikethedead.com where they reviews for all kinds of beds, spring, memoryfoam, latex. this site even goes so far as to give ratings for how sex is on each of these types of mattresses from different brand names. more embarrassing was that she posted in facebook about her purchase and some old classmate from high school commented "you won't be able to have sex on it" on her page! ugh. this is a family place, random guy from highschool

so anyway the email thanking me for my order said i'd receive an email when my order has shipped. a week later, no call or email. i waited until the following monday because it was a holiday week and left a message with the phone service. customer service returned my call the next day. the woman was a bit confusing but when i hung up i understood that the company is in California. the warehouse in NY has to still receive my queen mattress, which is being shipped from CA. when received, it has to be married to the adjustable base and then the delivery company will call me to arrange a delivery date and time. sigh

so today i finally received that call. anyway the fact is we need a new bed badly. our current bed's boxspring foundation has cracks in the wood. it squeaks each time we climb in and out of the bed. there is a pretty good return/exchange policy. i guess it will be fine
